About The Founder
My name is Kendra Munos
I’m Kendra Munos, BSN, RN, with over 10 years of experience in the behavioral health field, including addiction treatment and clinic-based nursing. I have also worked in five different school settings, giving me firsthand insight into the realities of school health, student safety, and day-to-day nursing operations in educational environments.
As a Nursing Supervisor, I oversee staff education, support clinical operations, and ensure alignment with CARF, DEA, and regulatory standards. My background bridges healthcare and school systems, allowing me to understand the unique training, documentation, and compliance needs across both settings.

Throughout my career, I consistently saw organizations struggling with the same challenge: education and compliance resources were often outdated, difficult to track, or spread across multiple platforms—creating unnecessary stress during audits and reviews. I founded NorthAxis Academy to solve that problem. My goal is to provide credible, practical education and ready-to-use professional tools that simplify training, documentation, and audit readiness for clinics, schools, and healthcare organizations.
